Effective August 01, 2005 the City of Peabody employed the services of Mr. Marvin Lirley as Animal Control Officer. Please direct your animal control issues to the City office at (620) 983-2174 during regular business hours Monday - Friday from the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Effective August 01, 2005 the City of Peabody has contracted the services of Spur Ridge Vet Hospital, located at 424 N. Main, Florence, Kansas 66851. They can be reached at (620) 878-4500 - Dr. Brendan Kraus, DVM. Please contact the City of Peabody to inquire as to whether your animal has been recovered by the Animal Control Officer.
Effective August 01, 2006, all calls pertaining to animal control issues that are not life threatening, or general public safety concerns occurring after regular business hours should be directed to the Peabody Police Department at 620-983-2133.
